  • 100 US dollars
  • Café Bar Moriarty

Service Description

Café Bar Moriarty and Cuvée Imports present a delicious four coursed meal with wine pairing. Cuvée Imports is a Buffalo based wine importer who fosters close, personal relationships with their wine producers. This dinner will feature four different styles of Riesling. Famously, one of the most popular grapes in Germany. The cooler climate in Germany is the “sweet” spot for the Riesling grapes. These light skinned grapes thrive in the cooler climate, which brings out the fruit’s acidity. The scale ranges from a dry to sweet. The grape has become one of the most versatile, complex, and food friendly wines. We are excited to be able to showcase just how special Rieslings can be, especially when pairing with food. With August being one of our warmest months of the year, Riesling will be a perfect pairing with bringing brightness and lush fruit forward notes, keeping you cool on a warm Summer night. Riesling has a reputation of being overly sweet and a dessert style wine. The new generations of winemakers have flipped the switch and have been producing some of the best! These four Rieslings displayed notes ranging from honey, apricot, herbal notes, and more! It will be a night full of excellent food and wine, while learning about this bright and flavorful grape! Tickets include 4 courses served family style. You will be seated with the number of tickets you purchase. Please note at the time of booking if you have any allergies or if you have any restrictions preventing you from sitting at a high top table or at the bar. The first course begins promptly at 6pm. For guests that arrive between 5:30 and 6pm, the bar will be open. Tickets do not include sales tax or gratuity. Pay a deposit to reserve your seats and the balance will be due at the event.
